Saundra Staats McLemore is a member of the American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) and the Romance Writers of America (RWA). Saundra is affiliated with the Baptist denomination. For thirty-three years, Saundra was President/CEO of McLemore & Associates, Inc., a nationwide sales and marketing business for the performing arts she built in 1984 and retired in 2016.
Saundra's passion has always been history, and she enjoys reading historical Christian fiction. Saundra's novel Abraham and Anna was endorsed by two of her favorite authors: Richard Paul Evans (author of The Christmas Box) and Jeanette Oke (author of the Love Comes Softly series). Saundra currently has two series published: The two-book inspirational eighteenth-century Staats Family Chronicles and the six-book inspirational Christmas Hotel series. Saundra has recently completed her ninth novel: For the Love of Ali: Removing the Fig Leaves, the first book in the Bellingham Bay series. The second book in the series is a work in progress.
Born and raised in the state of Ohio, Saundra is a recent widow to her husband Robert E. McLemore after nearly forty years of marriage. The two members of her household are her fur-babies: the mixed-Treeing Walker Coonhound Sadie and the cat Chester.
